In a north Norfolk coastal town, time is now literally standing still.
Sheringham's town clock has been set at 12 o'clock while repairs are under way.
Contractors have carefully removed parts of the mechanism so essential works can be carried out.
The town council says further updates will be shared once the work is complete.
For now, time has paused in the town and the clock will remain set to noon.
