A historic North Norfolk signal box will be open to the public to celebrate its 105th birthday.

The Grade II-listed signal box in Cromer will be open to visitors between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, June 13.

First built in 1912, it was operated until 2000 and has since been cared for by a group of volunteers.

There will be a track circuit demonstration as well as a presentation of tools and curios from ‘Eric the Bygone’.

The free event will take place at 31 Holt Road, just up the road from Cromer station.
