A village church has launched a new website providing details of people buried in its grounds.
All Saints Church, in Toftrees, near Fakenham, has set up a online system to provide details and photographs of more than 100 different graves.
People can consult the list to see if an ancestor is located at the church and check the year they were buried.
Colin Vogel, the churchwarden for All Saints, described it as something that has "never been done before."
He added: "When people come to a church and wander around, they can't read some of the writing on a gravestone because overtime they can be completely illegible.
"Some can also be very difficult to find because there's a lot of graves and it's often tricky to remember exactly where one is.
"The idea is that people don't even have to visit Toftrees to find this information, but those who do won't have any trouble."
One click on the website shows all the information about a memorial, including a photograph and the inscriptions.
Another click shows the exact location in the churchyard, with a map providing further reference.
A group of eight volunteers were involved in helping to preserve the details for the site.
"It's been a big team effort", said Mr Vogel. "Our volunteers have worked really hard to collect the information.
"We had to make sure that all the graves were safe, which was hard work, and also get the right shine on the carving.
"We had people taking photos as well. Churches have burial registers, but they do not have the full information that the new website provides."
The list consists of names buried as far back as 1603 - described by Mr Vogel as "taking parish records from centuries past right into the 21st century".
Since its launch on Thursday, May 28, the website has already received positive feedback from locals.
Mr Vogel added: "Some people have a lot of interest in finding out more about their ancestors.
"We've had quite a few positive reviews from those who say they like being able to find the grave on the site. It's all been very encouraging.
"As far as I know, it hasn't been done before, but it could be something other churches consider following."
