A new heat health alert is in place for Norfolk as temperatures remain high after the bank holiday heatwave.
The yellow alert - issued by the government - means that high temperatures are likely to have an impact on health and social care services.
Demand for these services will increase and people might struggle to keep and stay cool.
It will also mean there is "greater risk to life of vulnerable people," and water‑related incidents may increase, including risks from cold‑water shock and drowning.
The new alert is in place from today until Saturday at 8pm.
Diss is set to reach highs of 27C on Friday, with Thetford and Wymondham seeing temperatures reach 26C.
Temperatures will reach 25C in Norwich.
It comes after an amber heat health alert was issued from 2pm on May 22 until 5 pm on Wednesday.
The bank holiday weekend saw record temperatures for May with highs of 33C in Thetford and Downham Market.
