A new partnership is giving a community group more space to grow and support its members.
The Aylsham and District Community Shed (ADCS) has been welcomed by the National Trust to use a disused workshop on the Blickling Estate, offering increased room for projects and social time.
Aloys Feeney, property operations manager at Blickling Estate, said: "We’re delighted to welcome ADCS into the workshop and bring this space back into use for the local community.
"Supporting activities that help people connect, create and feel part of something is at the heart of what we do, and this partnership is a wonderful example of how heritage spaces can continue to serve community needs today."
The new workshop, formerly unused for a few years, offers more space, equipment, and the ability to host additional activities, allowing the group to expand its membership and community work.

Since launching in June 2023, ADCS has operated from Aylsham High School.
Steve Pickering, chairman of the community shed, said: "The workshop had been unused for a few years and needed a bit of a clear out and repaint, so we started with that.
"The next steps will be to rebuild the wood store outside and to install a new kitchenette so we now have somewhere to gather and chat over tea and biscuits away from the workshop."
The group works on both individual and community projects, helping members build skills and friendships while supporting local causes.
Recent work includes repairing a large frame and building the box office for the Aylsham Picture House, refurbishing 11 wooden picnic tables for Aylsham High School, and building nest boxes for swifts, barn owls and garden birds.
A formal opening event will be held at the Blickling workshop on Saturday, June. 18
Prospective members are welcome to attend and find out more about joining the group.
