A stage school is marking 10 years of nurturing young talent.

Triple Threat Stage School, based in Norfolk, was founded in January 2016 by Emily and Ben Woodward, who relocated from London the previous year.

The couple moved with their son Archie and shortly before the birth of their daughter Elsie, Mrs Woodward spotted a gap in the market for a stage school with a strong focus on musical theatre.

Ms Woodward said: "I remember going to my very first meeting with the lettings team at Aylsham High School with Elsie in a sling on my chest.

"I had no idea then how much Triple Threat would grow."

The school originally opened in Aylsham, with high demand for its free trial sessions and a focus on building confidence, communication, and teamwork through musical theatre.

It has since expanded to three additional locations across Norfolk at Fakenham, Hellesdon, and Norwich.

Triple Threat students regularly go on to perform with respected theatre companies, including Echo Youth Theatre, Sheringham Little Theatre, and the Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society.

The couple have spent part of the anniversary year reconnecting with past students, many of whom credit the school for helping them become “confident, articulate young people.”

The school offers weekly classes for children aged four to 17, along with Easter and summer programmes, after-school clubs, and primary school choirs.

To mark the 10-year milestone, the team is planning a series of special performances and events.

Mrs Woodward said: "If you have a child who loves to sing, dance, act or just needs a boost in confidence, Triple Threat would love to hear from you."

The Norwich branch, which opened in 2024, is based at Douro Place, home of the Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society.

Families interested in enrolling can contact Triple Threat Stage School for a free trial session.
