A number of Norfolk children were left waiting in the cold after a delay in buses to take them to school.
The delay affected pupils heading to Broadland High Ormiston Academy in Hoveton on Monday morning (January 5).
Temperatures as low as -4C were reported on the day, with many buses due to arrive before 8am.
One parent said that pupils were stood waiting at Salhouse Road as well as bus stops across Salhouse and Rackheath for more than an hour.
They added the school got in touch at 8.30am to say they were aware buses hadn't been sent.
A spokeswoman for Ormiston Academies Trust, which runs the school, said: "There was a slight delay to the arrival of school buses this morning due to an administrative error with the company.
"However, this was rectified with a replacement bus which was sent, and we have communicated with the students and families involved."
In an email seen by this paper, the academy confirmed the bus was sent out at 8.30am, with services home running as normal.
