Footway resurfacing works are set to begin on Links Avenue, Cromer.
The project, scheduled to commence on Monday, June 16, will involve the reconstruction of both sides of the footway, including vehicular accesses, and the installation of new edging at the back of the footway.
The work, to be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s infrastructure department and their contractors, is expected to last around 13 weeks, operating from 7am to 4.30pm.
Due to the nature of the construction, Links Avenue and Queens Road will be closed to through traffic.
People living there will still have access to their properties.
A fully signed official diversion route will be in place throughout the duration of the project.
People in the road are also being asked to trim any overhanging bushes or plants from their properties before the work begins.
The council stated that the works are part of routine maintenance to enhance the current condition of the footway.
The County Council expressed gratitude to residents for their patience during the improvement work, which aims to enhance the footway's current condition.
