A museum in north Norfolk is hosting a free railway-themed event this weekend.
The Archive Resource Centre (ARC) in Coltishall has organised the event to celebrate Heritage Open Days and its recent national recognition.
The museum, which is dedicated to the history of Girlguiding, was awarded official museum accreditation earlier this year by the Arts Council England.
Now, for this weekend, visitors will be invited to embark on a time-travelling journey across the 114-year history of Girlguiding on an imaginary steam train.

Helen Green, Girlguiding Norfolk's archivist, said: “We wanted to share our success and celebrate with everyone who is in guiding now or has been in the past – and with our local community.
"We are looking forward to a fantastic three days and can’t wait to bring guiding history alive for all our visitors.”
The imaginary train will make 10 stops around the estate, each offering a variety of activities.
These include 1940s Blitz cooking, an escape tent, and a chance to toast marshmallows over a campfire.

Visitors can also explore how the Guide uniform has changed over the years, sample tea and scones at the Whistle Stop Café, and try the new ARC Time Traveller Trumps card game.
The event will culminate with a visit from the current chief guide, Tracy Foster, on September 15.
The ARC Express event will run from September 13 to 15, from 10am to 4pm.
