A group of independent Norfolk veterinary practices have had a shareholder shake-up.

Westover Vets has been providing veterinary services in North Walsham for more than 100 years, and the surgery is partnered with fellow independent practices Caister and Cromer Vets, which have been running since 2017 and 2021 respectively.

Now all three practices have appointed new shareholders from within to secure the group’s independence for years to come.

Simon Bewsey-Dyke, Zak Leavold and Helen Boast have been appointed directors at Westover, Caister and Cromer Vets.

The trio take the group to six shareholders, joining existing directors Tom Hume, Toby Morrell and Ann-Marie Davis.

Helen Boast said: “We are really proud of our achievements and strongly believe in investing in the business and local community to give the best service we can to clients and their pets.

“One of our big recent investments has been a state-of-the-art CT scanner.

“We are always striving to achieve the best patient care and client satisfaction and hope to do so for many more years to come.”
