Doctors, nurses and the rest of the team at Cromer Group Practice will be lacing up their boots to take on a half-marathon charity walk along the north Norfolk coast this weekend.

Around 30 members of staff at Cromer Group Practice will walk the half-marathon coastal route this Saturday (May 18) to raise funds for local charity Cromer Cares.

Lauren Goodchild, the practice manager, said: "Cromer Cares support us a lot, particularly through Covid.

"They are a charity who support people locally. They collect people's prescriptions, take people to hospital for appointments at the Norfolk and Norwich if they can't drive or get there at no cost, and run food banks. They do so much.

"Everyone's looking forward to doing this walk together as a team. We haven't done anything like this before but we want to raise awareness for Cromer Cares as a local charity.

"We're quite a big surgery so it has brought everyone together."

The walk will start at Cromer Group Practice in Mill Road at 7.30am on Saturday and finish in the town.
