A family-friendly dog show celebrating pooches across the coast is returning for a weekend in a Norfolk village.

The Hunstanton Fun Dog Show, organised by The Barking Bugle, will be taking place on May 11 at Glebe House School in Hunstanton.

There are 14 classes to enter including 'Prettiest Girl', 'Handsome Boy', 'Waggiest Tail' and 'Fancy Dress' with rosettes and trophies for Best in Show.

A range of stalls will be on display, with refreshments including hot and cold food and ice-cream.

For children, there is a giant inflatable obstacle course to enjoy.

A spokeswoman for The Hunstanton Dog Show said: "This is a fun dog show with the emphasis on having a fun day out with the family."

Entries are £1.50 per class and events will run from 11am with judging from 12pm.

As well as the classes, dogs will also have the opportunity to try out some other activities and take part in a fastest recall competition.

There will be an obedience display by K9 Capers and a Bedlington Terrier will be giving a demonstration of her canine dancing skills. 

Participants can turn up on the day and parking is available on-site.
