A man has been jailed after three near-fatal drug overdoses were reported at his home in one month.

In August 2023, police responded to the near-fatal drug overdoses at an address in Wilson Road in Stalham.

Officers searched the property on August 15 and discovered used needles, pills, cannabis tobacco, cannabis sweets and two sets of digital scales.

A man living at the address was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A and Class C drugs, including synthetic opiates such as Nitazene – a substance thought to be 500 times stronger than Fentanyl with links to fatalities when taken.

Jack Childs, aged 22 of Wilson Road in Stalham, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on February 1 charged with supplying cannabis, offering to supply Class A drugs and offering to supply Class C drugs.

On Wednesday, he returned to Norwich Crown Court and was sentenced to 38 months in prison after pleading guilty.

He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £228.
