A walkway at a nature reserve in Norfolk will close for repairs next week.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust Cley Marshes posted on social media that the boardwalk will be closed from Monday, March 18, to Thursday, March 21, so routine maintenance can take place.

Cley Marshes is Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s oldest nature reserve and is a popular spot with birdwatchers, attracting more than 110,000 visitors each year.

The reserve has six hides, four of which are accessible via the boardwalks.

Last month, the site was named one of the UK's "most glorious coastal nature reserves to spot fantastic winter wildlife".

The Times named the reserve one of the best sites in the UK for birdwatching and said winter is a particularly good time to see snow buntings.
