Two local food businesses are teaming up to launch a new wood-fired pizza pop-up.

Robert Scammell and his stepson Jordy Walters co-run the takeaway food spot Urban Bites in North Walsham.

The pair have recently started working with Mahbubur Rahman of D-Lish Pizza to expand their portfolio with the new kitchen.

Mr Scammell said: "I have personally been working in catering for nearly 40 years, from restaurants and takeaways to providing 5,000 meals a day at the New Zealand Open.

"Last year I sold my main business to go into semi-retirement and I am now working on several projects that I hope will bring opportunities to budding entrepreneurs."

He started working with Mr Rahman - known as 'Mash' - on one of these projects.
