A majestic bird held up traffic this afternoon after deciding to swan about in the middle of the road.
Jamie Muldowney was driving through The Causeway in Potter Heigham when a swan brought the traffic to a halt.
He explained that it stood in the road just before the bridge for several minutes, causing cars to build up behind him.
A member of the public eventually escorted it out of danger.
Mr Muldowney said: "It’s not the usual traffic jam I’d expect on a Friday afternoon.
"It was really funny."
