A detached cottage set within a woodland clearing in north Norfolk is up for auction with a guide price of £225,000.

Quakers Cottage, situated in Marsham near Aylsham, is being sold along with more than 29 acres of land and several kennels.

The remote property is being marketed by Auction House East Anglia which said it would be "ideal for those wanting to live with no close neighbours and surrounded by wildlife".

The cottage's ground floor features five main rooms including a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and a conservatory.

There is also a separate toilet and a timber porch towards the back of the property.  

The first floor consists of a landing and two double bedrooms.

The previous owner, a dog breeder, built several kennels on a concrete base along with two timber sheds, a timber workshop and an open cart shed.

The cottage also boasts a grass lawn garden with a thatched gazebo and hot tub.
