A series of Christmas-themed windows are gradually being unveiled around Cley.
The north Norfolk village’s Advent windows event - which takes place every two years - has returned, and includes 40 displays being revealed between December 1 and Christmas Eve.
Cley will also host a Carols on the Quay event on Sunday, December 10 from 4pm, which will feature Father Christmas arriving by boat at about 5pm.
The Cley Harbour Committee is organising both events, which are free to attend.
Simon Read, committee chairman, said: “It’s lovely to see so many of our friends and neighbours in Cley getting involved with Cley Advent Windows.
“We’re raising funds for the ongoing restoration and maintenance of our little harbour and if anyone would like to make a donation, our Cley Harbour Justgiving page is easy to find.”
Maps for the Advent windows trail can be found in shops and pubs around the village, or online at www.cleyharbour.co.uk. The windows are lit each day between 4pm and 8pm, and will run until January 6.
