Three people have been hospitalised after a plane crash in north Norfolk.

Emergency services were called after reports of the four-seater light aircraft crash at Langham Airfield at 3.40pm today.

Fire crews used three pumps and a water carrier to fight the blaze and a foam blanket to cover a fuel spill at the scene.

Police remain on the scene and a cordon is in place.

Fire and ambulance also attended earlier, but have since left.

The three people on board the plane have been taken to hospital for treatment. 

Their condition has been described by Norfolk Police as 'critical but stable.'
