Questions on the environment, climate change and the government's response to it will be put to Broadland's Conservative MP Jerome Mayhew at an upcoming meeting.

Mr Mayhew plans to be at Aylsham Town Hall on Friday, October 13 for the public event, which has been organised by Aylsham Climate Emergency, a committee of the town council.

It comes as prime minister Rishi Sunak plans to water down the country's net zero targets and row back on previous commitments to green policies.

Anyone who wants to put a question to Mr Mayhew is asked to bring it in writing to the meeting with their name on it. Questions will be drawn out of a hat. The meeting starts at 7pm.
