Five female artists who formed a bond shaped by their shared love of painting will show their works at an upcoming exhibition.
Called Waves of Seeing, the event will take place at Sheringham’s Oddfellows Hall, featuring the artists Elizabeth Drayson from Dereham, Jane Brun from Fring, Jo Cowell from Burnham Market, Lizzie Haywood from Sheringham and Nevine Hunt from Mileham.
The artists all trained together at Norfolk Painting School.

Ms Brun, who also studied fine art drawing and painting in Florence, said: “I have found oil paints to be my perfect medium and love to create collections of pictures on themes and ideas.
“I also love to paint in strong colours which revitalises mood and happiness.”
Ms Cowell, who moved to Norfolk permanently five years ago, said: “Currently I work in my studio and in the beautiful landscape surrounding me, which is my source of inspiration.
"l’m lucky to live near the coast which enables me to sketch outdoors on location and on return to my studio, l experiment with these sketches using mixed media, painting in a contemporary and semi-abstract way.”
The exhibition will run from Saturday, September 30 to October 8.
