Folk, blues, jazz and pop will be woven together in a performance by Daphne's Flight in north Norfolk.

The band is made up of singer-songwriters Chris While, Julie Matthews, Helen Watson, Melanie Harrold and Miranda Sykes, and music lovers may know them from their hit show at Folk on the Pier in Cromer in May.

Scott Butler, of Deckchair Productions and who produced both the festival and the upcoming festival planned for Wednesday, September 13, said: “Daphne’s Flight are simply five individually successful solo artists in their own right.

“Together they create a unique and unparalleled force, empowering women of all ages and producing music that is relatable, moving and uplifting and creating a chemistry on stage that is both joyful and contagious.”

Daphne's Flight has been around for 25 years.

Ms Sykes is a new addition to the band, replacing Christine Collister.

Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, tickets are £20 from 01263 822347 or online at www.sheringhamlittletheatre.com.
