A 13-year-old boy described as "beautiful and brilliant" has been named as the victim of a tragic hit-and-run in a north Norfolk village.

Alfie Brown was killed after being hit by a white Ford Ranger truck in Swafield, near North Walsham, at 6.24pm on Thursday (August 10).

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 50s, drove off but was found by police officers a short while later and has been questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene.
