Norfolk's only canal with locks is to host its first-ever festival.
The North Walsham and Dilham Canal Trust is planning an event at the canalside Dilham Hall Retreats this autumn.
The free-to-attend festival is designed to be a "fun-filled weekend billing of boating activities and water sports", and will run across the September 9-10 weekend, from 10am to 4pm each day.
There will be taster sessions in canoeing and paddle boarding, as well as trips on the ‘The Newun’ wherry - skippered by its owner and creator Graham Pressman.

Live music will play throughout the weekend – with music from the Blakeney Old Wild Rovers on Saturday afternoon, and local band The Hucklebucks on Sunday.
On Saturday evening, a ceilidh barn dance will be held at Honing Village Hall.
The festival will also feature local boat builders and local businesses selling goods from stalls.
Dilham Hall Retreats is in Oak Road, Dilham.
