A popular footpath along the north Norfolk coast is set to temporarily close.

A section of the Marrams Footpath in Cromer will close for approximately two weeks from Monday (July 10).

Its temporary summer closure will allow North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) to carry out essential health and safety repairs.

There will be no access to the path while the works take place, and the council has mapped out an alternative route to get to the promenade and beach via a zig-zag slope.
