“We are honoured because he was such a well-liked man and he did attend lots of fisheries in the area.”

Mr Harris was born in Great Yarmouth in 1936. He joined the RAF in 1957 and, for several years, served as an electrical mechanical ground crew member at RAF Coltishall.

He loved freshwater fishing and captained several teams in Norfolk competitions, and was a member of many clubs including at Barford and Lenwade as well as Reepham.

In his younger years he played football for teams including North Walsham.

Mr Harris went on to become a photographer and spent more than 30 years taking photos for Norwich City FC.
