A business owner is calling for urgent action as repeated lorry strikes are "gradually demolishing" his shopfront.
The call comes after North Walsham business, Smiths The Jeweller & Pawnbrokers, was struck by a lorry on Tuesday, June 6, as it manoeuvred around a tight bend in Market Street.
The collision added to a growing number of similar incidents that owner Christopher Smith, 68, said was becoming an almost "daily" occurrence.
"It's an ongoing nightmare," he said. "I've been hit by lorries six times in the last seven to eight weeks - they're gradually demolishing the shop."
The latest strike saw the wood fascia mangled and panes of glass smashed, which Mr Smith said would cost insurers up to £12,000 to replace, adding to an ever-mounting bill of damage.

"The whole front needs rebuilding," he said. "And it's not the first time.
"A lot of the time I have to chase the drivers down so they don't drive off.
"I'm only open three days a week so a lot of the time I have to rely on others to do the right thing and intervene on these hit and runs."
A bollard has been erected on the street outside the store but Mr Smith said this has offered little help as it is too far away.

"I've called the council a number of times about doing something about it but they don't seem to care," he added.
"Huge lorries like those that hit my shop should not be driving down these streets - they're just too narrow."
A Norfolk County Council spokesman said: "We are sorry to hear of the damage to the shop.
"It is a tight junction which larger vehicles will need to exercise caution in negotiating, as at corners in many market towns in Norfolk.
"But protection of properties adjacent to the highway remains the responsibility of the property owner."
