Born in Spain in the 16th century and popularised by America's deep south, barbecue food is a summer staple.

From chicken and beef to hotdogs and seafood, a barbecue can come in many forms and is not just limited to smoked meats.

To celebrate National BBQ Week, which runs until June 4, we've put together a list of some of the best places in Norfolk you can find great barbecue food.
