The search to find missing Norman Carter has been stepped up as emergency services have joined forces to locate the 92-year-old.
Officers are also urging people living in the area to check their sheds, outbuildings and gardens as the search widens.
Further CCTV footage of Norman, who has been missing for more than a week from Sheringham, has now been released.
Searches are being extended to cover a wider area in Sheringham and the coastguard will be joining search efforts.
Inspector Marie Reavey, who is leading the search, said: "It has now been more than a week since Norman went missing and there hasn’t been any sign of him.
"Clearly this is very concerning and his family and friends are desperate to know where he is."
Norman was last seen walking along Cromer Road, between Jubilee Drive and Beeston Common, towards West Runton, at around 5pm on Tuesday, May 23.
He is 5ft 7ins and of average build and was last seen wearing a hat, navy coat, pale shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
Police would also like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the Cromer Road area on the day he went missing and may have relevant dashcam footage.
Anyone with information should contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101 quoting CAD 82 of May 25.
