Five restaurants in Norfolk have been named among the best in the UK.

OpenTable included a village pub and a market town café among its Diners' Choice winners.

Here are the Norfolk restaurants that were among the best overall restaurants.

1. Delia's Restaurant and Bar

Where: Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Rd, Norwich, NR1 1JE

When: Friday and Saturday nights

The restaurant, which overlooks the football ground, has a menu inspired by Delia Smith's published recipes.

Delia's menu includes roast duck, pickled prawns, crab salad and lemon meringue pie.

2. Bishop's Dining Room and Wine Bar

Where: 8-10 St Andrews Hill, Norwich, NR2 1AD

When: Midday to 2pm and 5.30pm to 9pm Wednesday to Saturday, Midday to 4pm Sunday

Tucked away in the Lanes, Bishop's promises local ingredients used in seasonal artisanal dishes.

The menu includes lamb rillette, ox heart, lemon polenta and baklava.

3. JD Young

Where: 2-4 Market Pl, Harleston, IP20 9AD

When: 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm Saturday and Sunday

JD Young Hotel dates back to the 17th century and has been run by the current owners for 20 years.

Located in Harleston's market square, the restaurant serves wagyu burgers, seafood linguine, chilli beef noodles and tiramisu.

4. The Parson Woodforde

Where: Church St, Weston Longville, NR9 5JU

When: Midday to late Monday to Saturday, until 5pm Sunday

The Parson Woodforde is a quiet country inn with a pub and hotel which uses locally sourced ingredients.

The menu changes frequently but has included seafood board, calves liver, moules marinières and crème brûlée.

5. Byfords

Where: 1-3 Shirehall Plain, Holt, NR25 6BG

When: 8am to 9pm daily

In the picturesque Georgian town of Holt, Byfords' cafe is open from breakfast to dinner.

The dinner menu includes stone-baked pizza and sharing plates as well as duck hash, kedgeree, and a pork burger.
