Cromer Pier was evacuated just before a Pink Floyd tribute show was about to start.
The pier’s Pavilion Theatre was cleared on Friday, March 17 at about 8pm, after smoke - produced as part of the show - blew into the bar area, setting off an alarm.
Hundreds of people in the audience for the UK Pink Floyd Experience were ushered off the pier to the forecourt, while Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service officers inspected the scene.
After it was found to be a false alarm, people were allowed to return to their seats and the show started around 30 minutes late.

One audience member said: “We were ushered right off the pier so the fire brigade could do their bit. From start to finish it was only half an hour we were back inside just after 8.30pm.
“It was nice to see the fire alarm procedure kicking into motion and see that they are keeping the pier safe.”
Deb Lewis, the pier’s marketing, box office and retail manager, said the wind brought the haze into the bar area, and the theatre was evacuated according to procedure.
A Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed an alarm was activated at the theatre.
