An award-winning Norfolk fish and chip shop is shaking things up in 2023 with a new sharing plates menu.

Eric's Fish and Chips was opened by chef Eric Snaith, also behind fine dining restaurant Titchwell Manor, as a restaurant and takeaway in Thornham in 2015.

It has proved popular with locals and tourists alike and in 2019 he opened his second Norfolk branch in Holt.

As well as traditional fare, from the end of January onwards customers will be able to enjoy a sharing plates menu at both locations.

This will include king prawns, arancini and battered gherkins and he is currently working on creating a mushy pea fritter and potato scallop.

Mr Snaith said: "After Christmas, a lot of people watch what they eat so it is a way to visit us for a lighter meal and to try lots of different things."

There will be new plant-based additions to the menu soon, including a vegan version of a prawn.

Mr Snaith also runs Eric's Pizza in Thornham and at food hall Yalm in Norwich, with a newly-launched frozen range too, and he sells bottled homemade sauces.
