Two women living in north Norfolk organised a sleep-out to raise £3,000 for vets who look after homeless people's dogs.
Sonya Byham, 66, and Yasmin Michael, 62, who live in Walcott, set up Marleyboys Mission in 2017 with the aim of providing support for homeless people and their dogs.
They started in 2017 while living in London. Since then they moved to the north Norfolk coast.
In December, Ms Byham, Ms Michael and ten other women spent the night on the beach at Walcott.
Ms Michael said: "It was bitter. Everyone just sat and contemplated. We realised how lucky we were to be able go home at the end of the night."
They raised £3,000 which will be donated to StreetVets, a charity providing free care to dogs belonging to homeless people.
This year they are planning more fundraisers including another sleep-out next winter.
Ms Michael said they want to raise awareness about the importance of dogs to homeless people.
