A new daycare service for people affected by brain injuries, including strokes, is about to open near Holt.
Headway Norfolk and Waveney is launching a weekly service based at Thornage Hall from Tuesday, November 29.
Rosie Dunthorne, the charity's director of operations, said: “We support our clients to regain confidence and overcome challenges.
"A key focus is promoting independence and rehabilitation while providing information and support services directly to those in need.
“Bringing services closer to those that need them will ensure everyone in our county is able to access the support we can offer”.
The service will initially be on offer each Tuesday and will be run by Ellie Robinson, Headway’s apprentice area manager for north Norfolk and Broadland.
The charity now runs seven day centres across Norfolk, having grown over the past year from just three.
Anyone interested in receiving support from Headway can call 01603 788114 or contact Ms Robinson directly on 07759 248183.
