Happisburgh lifeboat crew had a VIP visit from the RNLI's chief executive Paul Boissier on his first visit to the Happisburgh station.
Mr Boissier arrived at 10 am and met with station officials and shore crew before looking round the new accommodation at Cart Gap.
Both the station's lifeboats had launched earlier in the morning on their weekly exercises.
The Atlantic 75 boat Friendly Forester II returned first followed by D Class Spirit of Berkhamsted. After watching the recovery of the boats Mr Boissier spent time talking to the crews.
After the two hour visit Mr Boissier said he was impressed with the facilities and all the effort put into bringing expanding the station to a two-boat operation.
