SPONSORED ABSEIL: Some of the top brass at Girlguiding Anglia are getting ready to scale the heights in a bid to raise money for a new climbing tower.
Dora George, Girlguiding Anglia president, Rosie Spencer, Girlguiding Anglia chief commissioner, and Janette Abbott-Donnelly, deputy chief commissioner, will be taking part in a sponsored abseil at the Hautbois Residential and Activity Centre near Coltishall, which is used by the Guides, on Tuesday, June 14.
The aim is to raise funds for a new abseil and climbing tower which is set to cost around 36,000.
A spokesman said: 'The new tower will be accessible by all and will include various climbing challenge walls and two different abseiling tower heights.'
