Plans have been put forward for an extension at a North Norfolk school.
The proposals, for a new external staff room at Erpingham Primary School in Erpingham, near Aylsham, have been submitted to North Norfolk District Council and are currently under consultation.
In a planning document submitted with the application, it states; 'With the provision of the new staff room, the library in the main school block can be freed.
'The staff need a private staff room and the pupils need the class room.'
The new staff room would be built as a log cabin in a bid to be cost-effective and sustainable and would be located adjacent to the school's main building.
