People living in North Norfolk who are eligible for a concessionary bus passes are being made aware of changes in the application process.
Responsibility for the concessionary bus pass scheme transferred from district councils to Norfolk County Council on April 1.
People with a bus pass already do not need to change it, but all new applicants will have to go through the new process.
New passes can be obtained online from Norfolk County Council, accompanied by an uploaded passport-style photograph, or also by post to the county council.
But people can still get the passes from NNDC offices in either Cromer or Fakenham where the whole process can be undertaken on the spot.
A charge of 7 per application will be made, which includes taking a photograph, checking documentation to prove eligibility, age or disability, completing an application and processing the pass.
The pass will then be received within seven to 10 days of the applicant's eligibility date.
