An unprovoked attack on a pedestrian near Cromer is being investigated by police.
The 39-year-old was walking up Hall Road when two men got out of a vehicle and attacked, striking him on the head.
The victim, who lives in Cromer, suffered minor head injuries and torn clothing but did not require medical attention, and had nothing stolen from him.
He did not see his assailants but was aware of passing a parked dark car near the Metton Road at Felbrigg shortly before the attack, which happened between 9pm and 9.30pm on Saturday December 29.
