Norfolk's newest Tesco store opens at Aylsham on Monday morning.
The Norwich Road store opposite the Bure Valley Railway station opens its doors at 9am, followed by an official ceremony an hour later.
The Aylsham Care Trust charity will get a £1,000 donation towards its work including running minibuses to help the elderly do shopping trips, attend medical appointments and visit luncheon clubs.
The supermarket will employ 130 people, headed by store manager Richard Cole, who has worked for the company for 18 years at venues ranging from its Norwich Metro to London's Covent Garden.
He said the company was delighted to help the charity's support of local residents, and looked forward to working with more community projects in the future.
The store is also holding a children's environment day Saturday July 26 from 11am-4pm, including a craft workshop and entertainment.
