A play at Paston Sixth Form College is exploring the themes of Big Brother, surveillance and the individual's struggle for justice.

The college’s nationally-acclaimed Far East Theatre Company is presenting Steven Berkoff's adaptation of The Trial by Franz Kafka.

The 29 students will be directed by media and drama teacher Simon Thompson who said: “We are taking many of Steven Berkoff's physical theatre techniques and ideas and creating a Greek Chorus involving 15 students who are permanently on stage commenting on the action.

“The production promises to be visually exciting with a combination of drama and moving image.”

The Trial is being performed at the Paston Theatre, at Paston Sixth Form College, on Tuesday February 7, Thursday February 9 and Friday February 10 at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Wednesday February 8 at 1pm. Tickets are £5 and £3 (concessions) and are available from Paston Sixth Form College on 01692 402334.
