Cromer’s impressive start to their Norfolk SRA League Division Three season continued when they made it three wins out of three with a hard fought yet well deserved 15-10 victory over visitors Bob Carter Centre.
Cromer Squash Club made it two out of two when they travelled into Norwich for their Norfolk SRA League Division Three match against Wensum Sports Centre and returned home with a hard earned but thoroughly deserved 17-9 victory.
Cromer played their second match of the summer when they entertained neighbours Fakenham II in their Norfolk SRA Summer League Division Two fixture and finished very much on the wrong end of a 16-0 scoreline.
Cromer had two matches in Division Two of the Norfolk SRA Squash 57 Leagues and technical sirector Barry Starling once again rang the changes as he attempted to give as many of his squad as possible the opportunity to play competitive matches.
Cromer’s technical director Barry Starling was a happy man as his Cromer team moved up to fifth place in Division Two of the Norfolk SRA Squash 57 leagues following their 14-4 victory over the ladies from Broadland Swifts.
After a full week of hard, competitive squash, two of Cromer’s increasing band of veteran members, both playing off scratch and evenly matched, contested the final of this year’s prestigious handicap tournament.
