Nurse setting a hot pace at North Norfolk Wheelers

Despite challenging conditions, with wet and windy weather continuing well into May, the North Norfolk Wheelers’ time trials continue to attract strong support and several riders have achieved personal bests.

Charlie Nurse continues to perform well but last year’s winner of the 10x10mile trophy, Francis Glazebrook, has yet to enter the competition to secure his trophy. Charlie is also challenging strongly for best all-rounder after achieving another personal best in the 15 mile time trial.

It has been another decent week on the region’s beaches with mackerel, bass and hounds showing at many venues. In the north of the region the shingle has produced plenty of mackerel and you can soon fill a bag when the shoals are in casting range.
