North Norfolk Beach Runners have been out and about during September.

North Norfolk rivals Sheringham and Cromer both went head to head with top flight opposition in the first round of the Norfolk Senior Cup on Saturday - and the outcomes could hardly have been more of a contrast.

Premier Division

Southwold went marching on at the top of the table with another emphatic win.

An impressive three-try display by Holt in the first half was enough to give them their second successive win in London Eastern Counties Three, after an opening day defeat.

North Walsham recovered from a half-time deficit to record an emphatic win in an astonishing match. After a lacklustre first-half display, the Vikings completely overwhelmed their opponents with eight unanswered tries, many from deep, in a wonderful display of running rugby.

A group of north Norfolk parents who have kicked off a new under-eights team at Sheringham Football Club are appealing for more players to join.
