Cromer Town scored four times on Saturday - but it was still not enough to earn them their first Anglian Combination Premier Division points of the season.

A pair of amateur golfers from Mundesley claimed the pairs title at the 2016 Morocco Matchplay last week - after only joining the grand final as late replacements.

Holt produced a much improved all-round performance, but it was not enough to subdue a strong visiting side.

Members of North Norfolk Beach runners braved freezing temperatures to run on Cromer Prom.

Luke Tuttle helped himself to a brace as Spixworth maintained their lead in the Anglian Combination Premier Division with a 4-1 win at Reepham Town.

The draw was made for the semi-finals of the Norfolk Junior Cup last night, with four clubs now just one win away from a potential appearance at Carrow Road.

There’s a tasty looking derby match in Division One of the Almary Green Anglian Combination this afternoon, with two in-form teams coming face to face.

Another Norfolk player will be competing at the highest level next season after Toby Salmon signed a two-year deal with Aviva Premiership outfit Exeter Chiefs.

England will not defend their Six Nations title when battle commences next week – they will get on the front foot and attempt to win the crown all over again.

Over 300 young runners from nine schools took part in the East and North Norfolk Cross-Country Championships held at North Walsham High School, with teams from Aylsham High School and Reepham High Schools each winning three of the six races.
