Thieves stole cash from an ATM during a break-in at a bank in Holt early this morning.
An unknown number of men broke-in to the Santander Bank in the Market Place at around 12.20am today (Thursday). They stole an undisclosed sum from the cash machine then left the scene in a dark coloured car heading towards Fakenham.
The men were described as wearing dark coloured clothing and covering their faces.
The branch remained closed today while police carried out their investigations.
A Santander spokesman said: “Following an ATM attack at our Santander UK branch in Holt, the branch is currently closed to allow the police to investigate. We are co-operating fully with the police during their investigations. There are no further details available at the moment but we are working to open the branch as quickly as possible for our customers.“
