A motorhome rental firm has invested in two new vehicles after securing funding to help expand its business.

Swanton Abbott-based luxury campervan company Capricorn Campers benefited from £51,600 provided by lender Lombard towards purchasing vans.

In the last three years the company has received almost £150,000 in funding from the bank as it widens its offer.

Founded in 2014 by husband and wife team, James and Kelly Beales, the business provides campervans and motorhomes for touring holidays, festivals and sporting events all over Europe. The company has established three pick-up points across the South East, allowing customers to collect from Norwich, Gatwick Airport and Kent.

Mr Beales, director at Capricorn Campers, said: “We have been comfortably growing each year and I’ve got high hopes for the upcoming summer 2017 season with our two new motorhomes on the road.”
