A keen skydiver hopes to raise thousands of pounds for two medical charities by jumping 13,000ft with work colleagues.

James Boxall, 20, a driver at the Waitrose supermarket in North Walsham, will be doing the fundraiser on May 10 for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer’s Research UK with nine other staff members.

He will be joined by his mother Jackie Boxall, a checkout supervisor.

The keen charity fundraiser, who has done 31 skydives, put the message out on Facebook to staff about raising money in December last year.

Mr Boxall, from Eccles-on-Sea, who used to attend North Walsham’s Paston Sixth Form College, said: “It was a good way of meeting new people. It is good for team building.

“So many people wanted to jump for different groups but everyone has some sort of experience with Alzheimer’s disease or cancer.”

The jump will take place at Beccles and Mr Boxall hopes to raise £1,500 for each charity.
