Money, a watch, and medication were among the items stolen during raids on five cars in just one night in Coltishall.

Police are warning motorists to ensure their vehicles are locked and secured after it emerged that all of those targeted were unlocked.

Cars in the village’s Church Street, College Close, Chapel Lane, The Street were raided sometime between Thursday evening and Friday morning last week - February 2 to 3.

In Chapel Lane, small change was stolen from a vehicle which had been left insecure on a driveway.

In The Street, the culprit entered an unlocked garage and, once inside, entered an unlocked car before stealing a watch, book and medication.

Officers are urging residents to call police on 101 if they notice any suspicious activity in the area.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Constabulary said: “Anyone with information about the incidents should contact PC Greig Shepherd at Aylsham Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
