How many species of wildlife can you record between dawn and dusk?
Birdwatchers are being urged to record as much wildlife as they can from a 17ft diameter circle at different sites in north Norfolk.
The popular annual event, the North East Norfolk Big Sit will be held between dusk and dawn on Sunday, May 6.
Lin Pateman, publicity officer for the North East Norfolk Bird Club, said: “From doing the Big Sit we hope to gain valuable data about visible migration and the birds in our area and the results will be published in our monthly newsletter.
“Each site will have a co-ordinator with optics and a recording sheet. Last year we totalled 95 species over four sites.
“We already have plans for public sites at Felbrigg Park, West Runton, Beeston Bump, Weybourne and Pigney’s Wood but we are in need of volunteers to host/ co-host other sites within the area.”
