“Over the last few months, our regional management team has been supporting Well Mundesley closely, ensuring operational stability," a spokesperson for Well said.

"We now have new management in the pharmacy and have recruited additional pharmacy colleagues in order to minimise further inconvenience to our patients, which we believe have improved the situation.

"We’d still like to remind patients to sign up for our text messaging service which will alert them when their prescriptions are ready, as this could save them a wasted trip.”

Wendy Fredericks, Mundesley councillor and deputy leader of North Norfolk District Council, said: "I am really pleased Well have improved their service to the community.

"Of course I will continue to monitor the situation and will contact them with any issues."
